Treatment Name:
Botulinum Toxin Injections
Purpose:
To temporarily relax facial muscles, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, commonly in areas such as the forehead, frown lines (glabella), and crow’s feet around the eyes.
How It Works:
Botulinum toxin blocks the nerve signals to targeted muscles. This prevents the muscles from contracting, which softens existing wrinkles and prevents the development of deeper lines.
Procedure Time:
Approximately 15–30 minutes.
Anaesthesia:
Not usually required. Numbing cream can be applied if requested.
Sensation During Treatment:
Mild stinging or pinching sensation from the needle.
Immediate Aftercare:
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours post-treatment.
- Do not apply makeup for at least 12 hours unless mineral-based.
- Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot baths for 24–48 hours.
Results:
- Start to appear in 3–5 days.
- Full effect visible in 10–14 days.
- Results typically last 3–4 months.
Possible Side Effects:
- Redness, swelling, or mild bruising at injection sites.
- Temporary headache or a feeling of tightness.
- Very rarely: drooping eyelid (ptosis) or asymmetry, which usually resolves over time.
Risks:
- As with any injectable treatment, there is a risk of infection, allergic reaction, or unexpected outcomes.
- Always seek treatment from a trained and qualified practitioner.
Follow-Up:
- Review appointment recommended around 2 weeks post-treatment to assess results and make minor adjustments if needed (sometimes called a “top-up”).
Long-Term Advice:
- Regular treatments can maintain results.
- Avoid smoking and excessive sun exposure to prolong skin health.
- Use a high-factor sunscreen daily.

Possible Side Effects:
- Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites.
- Mild weakness in nearby muscles (especially when treating palms or soles).
- Rarely: infection, allergic reaction, or compensatory sweating elsewhere.

- Incorrect technique can lead to muscle weakness, especially in delicate areas like the hands.
- Always seek treatment from an experienced medical professional.
Follow-Up:
- Review after 2 weeks to assess treatment success and consider any additional touch-up treatments if necessary.

DERMAL FILLER DISSOLVER TREATMENT
PRICE LIST
- from £80
deposit: £50
Treatment Name:
hyaluronidase
Purpose:
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme used in aesthetic medicine to break down hyaluronic acid (HA)-based dermal fillers. It plays a crucial role in managing complications, refining results, and supporting patient safety.
How It Works:
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the skin and the main component of most dermal fillers.
Procedure Time:
30–60 minutes depending on the area treated.
Anaesthesia:
Topical numbing cream or ice packs are often used to minimise discomfort.
Sensation During Treatment:
Mild stinging, pressure, or pinching sensation with each small injection.
Immediate Aftercare:
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours after treatment.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths, and alcohol consumption for 24–48 hours.
- Keep the treated areas clean and dry; avoid deodorants or antiperspirants for 24–48 hours unless advised.
Results:
- Within 5 to 15 minutes: You’ll typically start to see the filler begin to break down.
- Full effect: Most of the dissolving action occurs within the first 24 to 48 hours.
- Multiple treatments: In some cases (especially with denser or older filler), more than one session may be needed.
Possible Side Effects:
- Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites.
- Mild weakness in nearby muscles (especially when treating palms or soles).
- Rarely: infection, allergic reaction, or compensatory sweating elsewhere.
Risks:
- Hyaluronidase is non-selective — excessive use may affect the patient’s natural hyaluronic acid, leading to:
- Skin dehydration
- Mild tissue thinning
- Temporary texture changes
Follow-Up:
- Review after 2 weeks to assess treatment success and consider any additional sessions.
Long-Term Advice:
- Stay hydrated and wear loose, breathable clothing.
- Maintain good skin hygiene to prevent irritation or infection.
